Projects

Simon had a vision to do outreach work in his local community and in his former homeland in Africa.  The Foundation will therefore focus on these two aspects, as verbalized by Simon :

Local Community

The specific project in the local community is the Young Lions Media centre which began operations in May 2006.

Africa Community

The main focus in Africa will be the Zambian Community Project although we still intend to support some initiatives in our homeland of Zimbabwe.

As these two projects continue to develop they will become very much inter-connected as the Foundation will :

Encourage all people that live in the County of Parkland (and North America !) to participate in the Foundation’s vision to do work in both our local community and the African community and to provide them with an opportunity to make the real connection between the two.

Travel Abroad – provide community citizens with the opportunity to travel to Africa to work on the project/s there and to have an African cultural experience.
