The 2008 Tax Receipts were mailed on March 2, 2009. Thank you to all our donors - every dollar had a big impact on someone. We hope that you will choose SPF to support again in 2009. If you are in our area we would be pleased to meet you for coffee or a meal to discuss more or to speak to your group.

Gordon is heading to Zambia on March 31 for four weeks to check up on things there and work with a team coming from Montana ! Look for updates from him as he travels on the SPF Blog (link on the left here.)

AFRICA 2009 - we have recently set the dates in July and August for our 2009 teams to travel to Zambia to visit and work on our project there. If you have any interest in a trip to Africa please visit the Zambia 2009 page for more information.

ORPHANS - we have just added details about the group of 20 orphans that we have selected to support in our Zambian Community. If you are interested in supporting our orphans please see Orphans Profiles and then the Donations page for ways in which you can donate. Our target is $ 30.00 per orphane per month.

FUNDRAISING - is an ongoing activity as we need funds in order to carry out our various projects. Please check out our 2009 Fundraising targets and if you are able to donate please visit the Donation page for ways to do so. If you have any ideas for fundraising events please contact us.

A NIGHT AT THE OSCARS - we are pleased to announce the return of a favourite Parkland event under the auspices of Young Lions Media, in May 2009. Get details of the criteria for the competition and get filming !! More .......

COORDINATED SUICIDE PREVENTION PROGRAM - Jenn Wilkins, our new Program Manager, is settling in well and is now ready to deliver presentations about suicide and suicide prevention to community groups. If you would like her to speak to your group please visit the CSPP web page for more information.
